I downloaded and tried 1.02 today and I was able to successfully get a test using both Get and Set Persistant string as well as an ExceuteDirect.

In order of priority I would vote for (probably order of difficulty also):
1) Existing nwn2 functionality (mysql version)
2) Existing hashset functionality (use it liberally in my mods)
3) Update ... |
