NWNX4 will be more complex than NWNX2, and thus I could use a little help.
In the first developer call, numerous people expressed interest in helping out with programming, documentation, and porting to Linux. Please add your name below if you want to contribute, and state what you want to do.
Note: Things are still going a bit slow at the moment. There is some development in the background going on (mostly me working on the basics), but since the official release of NWN2 is getting nearer, pace will increase as well. _________________ Papillon

NWScript, documentation, C/C++/asm/hooking. Mostly Linux stuff (just because my server runs on Linux).

I will help coordinate docs. I have a wiki set up with a lot of current information: http://editthis.info/nwnx/Main_Page
I am also willing to help with the SCO/RCO functionality for NWNX4. |

I'll take care of the installer, stub installer downloading most current, automating DB setup, anything that we want to do with NSIS that can be done. |

I have experience with various stuff. I would particularly like to help with the hooking and low-level work, but that's probably what I know the least about. |

Offering my services as well.
I am currently working towards my Ph.D. in Computer Science, and have spent most of my programming career in the many flavors of C. So my expertise would best be used in code. Let me know. |

Is there much of anything on the official NWNX4 project that will be written in C#? If so, I'd be glad to help. I've been programming with C# since the .NET beta. -- I mainly write C#/.NET & SQL Server stuff for a living, so I'd be happy to help with that. The GUI would be incredibly easy to create if it was C#.
I'm really rusty on my C++, but it sounds like there are plenty of volunteers on that side, so I'm safe. |
