Hi all, little help needed
How can i make in nwn1 when a player speaks something, like *anything u want* the text and the ** icons go another color ie: cyan or whatever?.
Im using NwNx speech plugin 1.03 for listen and processing dice rolls and emotes
Any help is appreciated.

use nwnx_chat instead
and you can also download Funky's SimTools

Yeah, I'd highly recommend you make the switch to nwx_chat and SIMTools. As for colored tex, you just need to add the correct color codes. You can find a color code generator on the vault, and there are a ton of them set as consts in SIMTools.

Use SIMTools as a demonstration, and extract the parts that will be useful, but it sounds like you already have a script or a bunch of scripting routines that you could use quite effectively with nwnx_chat without having to get used to new functions.
Remember: SIMTools is not the only way of using nwnx_chat. But it's a damn good implementation, and excellent for example code! |
