I followed the instructions, but when I pull the lever my character gets booted, but the server does not restart. Any advice? Is there some logging being done anywhere? _________________ Jim (aka, Urlord)

Same problem with the lastest version (NWNX System Plugin V.0.0.0.5)
i have this Quote: |
* NWNX4/System: CPU configured to both cores.
* NWNX4/System: Plugin initialized.
* * NWNX4/System: Plugin SetString( psFunction = RESET, psParam1 = , nParam2 = 0, psValue = )
* NWNX4/System: NW2Server process found, restarting the server... |
but nothing happen, server is not shutdown.
I m running two NWN2 server, both with their own NWNX folders to launch. |

It seem since i installed windows XP sp3, the system plugin is not able to close the nwn2 process.
Anyone have this issue? |

Hello PNJ
Hehe... it's a bit late, but hopefully not too late.
I'll look into this issue, the plugins are due for an update in any case, with the new version of NWNX4 released!
WinXP SP3 may be incompatible with madC hooking code, I'm not sure at this point. The System plugin uses standard Win32 API though, so it should work irrespective of service packs in both XP and Vista.
And it seems that NWNX4 now uses Detours, which should make it more compatible with WinXP.
Time to get working. =)

Awkay, here's a new version of the Character plugin available.
Click here to download it.
It's been compiled for NWNX4 version 1.09 (the latest!) and NWN2 version 1.13 (vanilla).
There's a PDF readme included on how to install and play.
Some new functions are available: SetWing, SetTail, SetHairTint, SetHeadTint, and SetBodyTint. =)
I'm not sure whether you need the Visual Studio 2005 redistributables, or whether Vista and XP SP3 will work with this plugin.
So, could someone with the abovementioned systems, please test out the plugin and kindly provide us with some feedback.
