|
|
Hello,
i'm struggling with an issue with nwnx2. i'm unable to make it load the nwnserver.exe process while using the beta patch (last one).
when i start nwnx it just stay there without starting up the server, if i manualy startup the server anyway is like nwnx isn't on so no bonus is applied with leto or no log information is logged with nwnx profiler pulgin
this is the nwnx ini file
; NWNX2 configuration file
; These are the default values for NWNX2. Values specified on the command
; line take precedence.
[NWNX]
ServerPort = 5121
ModuleName = xxxx
WatchdogProcess = yes
UpdateIntervalProcess = 5
WatchdogGamespy = no
UpdateIntervalGamespy = 20
GamespyRetries = 5
OldGamespyProtocol = no
RestartDelay = 5
ServerVault = .\servervault
[ODBC2]
; Log file
MaxLogSize = 512 ; in KByte
LogLevel = 2 ; 0=nothing, 1=only errors, 2=everything
; Use these two settings for the SQLite internal database
;source = sqlite
;file = sqlite.db
; Use these two settings for ODBC connections
;source = odbc
;dsn = nwn
; Use these five settings for MySQL connections
source = mysql
server = xxxx
user = xxxx
pwd = xxxx
db = nwn
; Set hookscorco to false if you want to disable hooking of
; StoreCampaignObject and RetrieveCampaignObject entirely
hookscorco = true
[PROFILER]
MaxLogSize = 512 ; in KByte
LogLevel = 1 ; 1=overall statistics, 2=full script callstack
any idea ?
I just noticed that in the "process watchdog" section of nwnx it just pile up crash after crash
arghhhhh what's wrong ??? |

1. So even the nwserver window doesn't appear, right?
1. Is MadCHook.dll in the same directory?
2. Does it work with 1.68 on the same machine?
3. Anything useful in the logs? |

Hmmm... I'll download 1.69 today and check. I tried to run earlier versions on 1.69 with NWNX and that worked, though. |

i think i resolved my issues.
needed to rename nwnx_module.dll into nwnx-module.dll
i tried downloading nwnx2 again and noticed this dll has different "_" "-" so
i renamed it. now all seems working (even if font used in the server are a bit ugly).
Strange that this thing didn't caused any issue before the patch. |
