|

Hi, I was wondering if its possible via nwnx2 to set the destination of the outputted chat logs and such?
I run mysql with phpmyadmin on the same machine, and have a folder running on the disk as a website
(apache I think - Came with Mangos - Lol)
But, what I want to do, is to have the logs created and updated in real time, on the webdisk, so that in real time, the chat output is always available to me, via web.
Eg - Type in address of the server, and then navigate to the logs via URL.
Also, does anyone know if there is anyway of filtering outputed chat logs?
Eg - Currently, it is catching all messages sent, even ones sent by npcs.
My npcs have random banter scripts on their heartbeat, and they even talk when no Players are around, is it possible to filter their conversation out of the chat logs? Would this be required to go into the nwn script side? Eg - GetIsPC() check, to make sure that before it logs, it is a speaking pc?
Ideally, I would love a ready made php application that would display the contents of a chat log, then refreshes every 30 seconds. |

If you are using SIMTools, or just nwnx_chat, you can log player chat, stream it, do whatever you like to it, including dumping it into a database of some kind. You can specify the file it goes to in the ini of nwnx_chat.

Does that mean I am able to set the folder it appears in?
I specifically need to get it to make the logs in a drive called w:\
w for web. Lol |

That I don't know, sorry, but I suspect not.
