I am running Windows xp on my NWNX development machine and my pw is hosted on a Linux machine.
Therefore I want to install some Linux plugins, but how could I write and test the scripts on my local machine being that it is running windows?
Thanks for any help!! |

Your options there are limited: use plugins that are available on both OSes, or run a Linux VM on your Windows machine (e.g. via Virtualbox or VMWare).
Otherwise, port the plugins that you want to use to Windows or ask for them to be ported... but that's a slightly less pragmatic approach _________________ Win32 SVN builds: http://www.mercuric.net/nwn/nwnx/
<Fluffy-Kooshy> NWNx plugin is to this as nuclear warheads are to getting rid of fire ants.
<ThriWork> whenever I hear nwn extender, I think what does NWN need a penis extender for? |

So if I have a plugin that is available on Windows and Linux. For instance I think functs is. I can
install it on my local machine.
write scripts using it, and test them on my local machine.
install the linux version on my server
everything should work? |

The Windows version of funcs only has a handful of what's in Linux, and I suspect some of what's there might even be broken. In short: no. _________________ Win32 SVN builds: http://www.mercuric.net/nwn/nwnx/
