why isnt my ettercap's reskinned texture not showing in nwn

i exported the ettercap model and renamed it to c_granadora
renamed the custom texture with the same name
i copied the ettercap entry in appearance.2da and modified it
added all three files into a hak
and loaded the hak into the toolset
the custom model was showing in the creature wizard but not the texture
