Hi,
my server started to dying some days ago. No idea what's happening. I've seen lots of things in the last 10 years, but wtf...
I'm getting ALOT of random TMI's everywhere. First i thought it's gonna be the AI, but there's alot of TMI in other scripts too.
For example:
-zep_torchspawn: This is a standard CEP heartbeat script for light-emitting objects.
- zep_doorspawn: very simple script. There is no loop in it!
Getting errors in standard nwn auras too.
After a while, the server became unresponsive towards the users: no XP, NPC's wont conversate, mobs are just standing.
I would like to test it w/o nwnx, but it's almost impossible, i use it too much.
Anyone run into something like this? |

Okay, turned out that this is caused by nwnx_resman. I have thousands of items stored in the resman folder, for loot-spawn. It worked for 3 years, however this caused some strange crashes at modul shutdown, but not affected the gameplay. Now i put all those items to a hak-pak (and made it hidden with nwnx_haks hehehe). Looks like everything is working.

Were the TMIing scripts also in the resman folder? _________________ In Soviet Russia, NWN plays you! |

No, it happened with 0 scripts in the resman folder also. I use resman for quick-change some scripts, but after module-upgrade, i remove them. |
