This has been around for a while on Bioware Social, but no one has expressed any interest in it. I forgot to post an update here, so for those who haven't heard about NWNX Connect:
NWNX Connect 1.0

This is a client-server protocol extension, right now allowing to load haks and tlk (!) before character creation.
Players have to run NWNCX on the client for this to work.
No configuration is required on either side: hak and tlk list is sent automatically to compatible clients. _________________ In Soviet Russia, NWN plays you! |

I'm not clear why this is not working for me. Using version 1.0.
Server is a Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
We are only using a few modules but connect won't load as you can see here:
* Loading modules...
ODBC plugin Registerred.
PROFILER plugin Registerred.
ERROR: dlopen: ./nwnx_connect.so: ./nwnx_connect.so: undefined symbol: nx_hook_function
* NWNX2 activated.
is this something I should recompile for the server?
