I like the guys at Bioware. For over two years, the function signatures have not been changed. They might not implement everything the community would like to see in the game, but you can say what you want: at least they do not touch their core code and thus NWNX continues to run fine.
I guess that will be true for NWN2 as well (compared to NWN1).
