The linux version is rather diferent to the windows version, the current efforts are to update the database module to something similar to what the ODBC2 module can do, details are in the "Linux support for SCO/RCO" thread.

Also it's an open source project so if you think you could help, and youve got the time, I'm sure you'd be welcome :)
