- Shortened string for persistent location storage. Locations can now be stored in less than 128 characters, which is the default column size that NWNX and sql_include assume in general.

Do we have to convert "old" stored locations or will they work after updating to 1.07? If not, i could provide a sql script to update old locations to the new format. As i am in my office right now, i could deliver it today in the evening (if it is necessary, and not availible at the moment)

Have fun with the new version ! Feedback appreciated, as always.

excellent work thanks!

One thing in the xp_mysql.ini the CLASS=SQLoff which I quickly found out means to not use SQL. This will cause some frustration to 1st time installers I'm sure.

Yes, it's not submitted yet, but soon will.

That would be nice. I guess a lot of people would appreciate it, if there was a small script available that converts the locations for them. You might want to create a new thread for this.

Hmm yes, I'll update the installation instructions to point this out. As soon as the installer will be part of the package, that shouldn't be a problem any longer, though.

Oh, that's why!!!! (my question in main was about this issue). But will we have to simply change SQLoff to SQL or what? Question

I finally got around to update the repository. It's up to prototype 1.07 now.

Beta 2 of 1.08 is released (click here) and the SVN repository has been updated as well.

I think the final 1.08 should be available on the day NWN 1.06 becomes public.

Well, a bit later than planned, but now it's official:

NWNX 1.08 final has been added to the download page.

KFW - will you be updating you xp_system.dll for 108? This is the last plugin I am needing to move up to 108 (unless the existing version works in 108?)

Okay... the character and system plugins are now NWNX4 version 1.08. Don't have time to do the multiple module support for the system one, maybe next week. Same goes for the clock.

My game's stopped working, crashing liberally even. Seems the 1.06.980 patch actually causes crashes rather than prevents them... =/
So, I can't check any of my plugins, and I just don't have time to fiddle with this...
When it starts working again, I'll review the code and make sure it works but until such time this is all on ice...
Sorry folks, I'm out.

Okay, took another quick look at this, and re-installed my game from scratch. It seems to be working with 1.06.980 patch again. I'll work on something for next week but no promises...
