Hello,
i have trouble with placeable inventory, i was testing my persistant chest script, and a strange bug appear, so i simplified the module and the bug always occurs. Here the description:
Module:
Create new module (with or without any script event) and add a large chest (without script)
Then launch the server via nwnx4 and open the module
in the game i click on the chest to open, then close the inventory and doing it several times, very quickly the chest stay open (no more animation) (and if you have script on the chest this scripts are no more called - no more envent firing on the chest)
To have the bug even quicker add an object in the inventory
I do the same test but without using nwnx4 to launch the server (i launch it directly) and the chest works perfectly.
My PC: P4 - 2.4Ghz - 1Go RAM

i did more test myself and with a friend, finally the bug appear also without nwnx4 (but not each time).
My friend don't have the bug, but he have 2Go Ram, maybe it's the reason...
EDIT: I have installed the server on my portable computer and launch the game from my PC, there is no more bug... now it's certainly the RAM |

Ok, thanks for testing.
Neverwinter Nights always had troubles with chests... I seem to remember a problem where the lid would be stuck in version 1, as well. _________________ Papillon |
