NWNX2 and MySQL 5

Hey

I'm having trouble to get NWNX2 and MySQL 5 to work. The mysql.txt logfile says:
"o Error: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client".

I am using the NWNX_MySQL plugin if I remember correctly ( - I think the dll has been renamed into nwnx_odbc.dll).

Should I get a newer version of the plugin (link please) or is there another solution I could try?

You could try to enable the old authentication method under MySQL Administrator - Startup variables - Security. The secure authentication setting below should probably be unchecked.

Unfortunately, there is no updated nwnx2 mysql plugin, so the old method will have to do.

Yeah, I tried that and combinations of that and 'Use old passwords':

Thanks anyway. I suppose I'll be forced to run MySQL 4 now.
