Any news about the 1.22 update?
Thank you so much

Sorry about the stupid question but... Why do we need to update the plugin each and every nwserver update? |

Well, this is tough to explain without being a programmer. So let me see if I could try!
Let's imagine a row of people standing in a line, alright? One person in this line's job is to handle pick pocketting. Now, basically, my plugin tells this guy, "Dude, you gotta change how you do pickpocketting" and he has no choice but to listen.
The plugin finds this guy by his place in line, he's 5th from the front. However, every time Obsidian rebuilds, he changes his position in line, he could be 10th, 100th, 1923145th. He's never at the exact same place. Some plugins, however, find their person in line by a description of him, "Oh, he's a big dude, with muscles, a pink shirt, and pants!" then they go through the people in line looking for that guy. However, if Obsidian decides to give the guy a blue shirt in an update, then they won't be able to find him either.
So there's tradeoffs for both methods, I just picked one and went with it. I may have to switch to the other method, who knows. |

I see
Thank you for the explanation. Let's hope you'll find the new position in line soon |

Again, it doesn't seem to work with 1.23 even if the plugin seems to register fine.
Anyway the standard pickpocket action just isn't hooked. |

Guess we're all in the same boat for the time being. I think the source code wasn't released for this, someone mentioned that it may be possible to hex-edit the dll but I wouldn't know where to begin with that. |
