Hello everyone
I am somewhat begineer in programming and - also - NWN player. Recently I tried to create server for adventuring with my friends (LAN only) - and I am lacking some functions in nwscript (most notably, arrays).
I would like to write my own plugin (yes, I know that I can use database or hashset for this - but it would be nice to learn something more) The problem is - I don't know what exactly I need for it. I tried to compile demoplugin (downloaded from download section on the main site), in Visual C++ 2008 Express but I could not openproject file. Also, other plugins I downloaded suffered from missing libraries (if it is really needed I can make full list - but I assume that I am doing something wrong with software)
So there is a question - what I need to create my own plugins? Can anyone provide me a full list?
Thanks in advance and apologies for my poor English. |

I assume, since you mentioned NWN and Visual C++, that you're interested in NWNX2 Win32. See http://www.nwnx.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1103 for SVN info.
To build, you'll probably need Visual Studio (or at least Visual C++) 6. Yes, it's REALLY old, but it works! When you get your hands on VS6, everything in the SVN repository should build out of the box. _________________ Win32 SVN builds: http://www.mercuric.net/nwn/nwnx/
<Fluffy-Kooshy> NWNx plugin is to this as nuclear warheads are to getting rid of fire ants.
<ThriWork> whenever I hear nwn extender, I think what does NWN need a penis extender for? |
