Confirmed. The RAM is the issue.
That aside, now that I know what to do, running the servers in a VM environment resolves my reset DLL issue. After the 24 hour timeout for the reset trigger script passed the servers running on one VM all reset OK. The other VM was unaffected. So it works beautifully now. 
The best part is I can setup and test a Linux server VM now...without deviating from my working windows environment...and also while keeping the servers consolidated. 
BTW...for those interested in trying a VM environment for their servers, both VMware ESXi and Citrix XenServer are available for FREE. Just check the HCL and make sure you have the necessary hardware.
