I'm currently working on building a server on Arch Linux that will use NWNX. The Arch Linux developers recently announced that MySQL will be dropped from their support system to be basically replaced with MariaDB. According to the Arch group, it's basically dropped in with almost no fuss. My question is if NWNX OCDB has ever been used/tested with MariaDB.
I can continue to work with MySQL. This is just a question of curiosity more than anything. Has anyone had success with this? |

The protocol is the same, so it should work.
Compiling it on the same machine may be a problem though if they don't provide libraries with mysql names. _________________ In Soviet Russia, NWN plays you! |

It wouldn't surprise me if some enterprising Arch user keeps supporting MySQL in the Arch User Repository. |
