Installing the speech module and setting up the tables wasn't a problem. The log (for the speech system) isn't reporting any errors and it is writing to the Database with no problems (things said IG). What doesn't work though it the system itself. I merged the moduleonload and cliententer scripts with my own and no issues there, but the speech system just doesn't react (to any emotes or even *help*).

Are there any special steps needed for getting this to work on a Linux system?

I had a similar problem with the windows version where the Module Name (set in Module Properties) has to be the same as the module file name in order for Talus to work with the 'no database' option.

I would imagine there is a similar requirement with the Linux version.

Yup. After writing this I checked the DB again and noticed that the Module field was always empty, so I changed the "Module Name" variable in the script to "" and now it works Smile

Ta.
