According to Rich Taylor's post here, the NWN2 server v1.06 will support modules stored in directory form.

This is excellent news ! Since I just pass on the command line parameters, it should work with NWNX as well.

So how do I specify the -moduledir so the server starts up correctly on restart?

Nevermind - I figured it out. Just use -moduledir [directoryName] instead of -module [moduleName]

Just curious, what's the benefit of using directory mode? Does it happen to make the nwn2server more stable? (crosses fingers)

Unless there's something really weird in how NWN2server unpacks a module, no.

Primarily, directory mode makes distributed building simpler, is better with toolset crashes...
