Maybe there is something very wrong with me.. but after looking for several days I could find nothing about initializing MySQL with NWNX4.
One further question, I'm running Vista and have yet to find a GUI for MySQL that will run on it, any ideas? |

Could you please be more specific ? What to you mean by "initializing" ?
Enabling the plugin ? Connecting to the DB ? Creating the tables ? _________________ Papillon |

I'll start with enabling the plugin. I've looked through the ini files and altered whatever I could find there, and no luck. I simply can't seem to get MySQL running. |

On Vista you wont get ANY hooking (NWNX) happening unless you are running in 'Administrator' mode... so run "As Administrator"
Any MySQL application (inc GUI ones) should run in 'Administator' mode.
As a safeguard to most Vista's "least privilege" problems wherever possible install software 'As Administrator', and change any Services to run as 'LocalSystem'
Cheers

Alright, that's good knowledge to have, thanks!
Turns out my major problem was that I *cough* hadn't installed MySQL Server properly. |
