I am starting to build a PW world with the use of subraces for more character choices. 2 of the main things i want to do, is on certain subraces i want to be able to increase and decrease the base stat, and possibly change the base race eq Human into HUMANOID_MONSTEROUS. into a one time shot ( thus not increase and decrease the same stat everytime you log in) only the first time during character creation.
Leeto offers externally the ability to make the changes, but I have not found a way to have it implimented automatically...a friend sent me an erf to import into NWNX to support Leeto, however when i try to import to NWNX2 there is 11 resources ( .ncs files) that are said to be required but not found...
any ideas ? |

NWNX-Leto can accomplish this, but tell me what you mean by "automatically"?
NWNX-Leto requires characters be booted for changes to take effect, but:
[*] I've prototyped and proofed an SQL-based solution that lets me queue modifications to a character, so they all take effect the next time the character rests; or of course you can boot the character for critical changes, like adding a new class.
[*] You don't actually have to call BootPC. I found as a shortcut you can simply ActivatePortal() the PC back to your own server's address (by name or IP), and fire off NWNX-Leto immediately afterward. This works for several queued modifications, but I never completely stress-tested it for dozens and dozens of changes all at once. _________________ - dragonsong |

well i suppose the word automatically is the wrong word, i was told NWNX worked with Leeto ( don't mind if the character has to log out and back for Leeto to make the changes) however, the question is basically
NWNX2--+Leeto the import i have says missing 11 .ncs required resources
is there a different .erf to DL that is designed for NWNX2 ? |

Firstly, NWNX-Leto doesnt come with an erf so I dont know what youve been sent.
Secondly, missing .ncs is not a bad thing. Include files never have a .ncs for example, but the toolset still says they are missing. |

It's Leto, by the way, having nothing to do with elite (leet), but rather the God Emperor of Rakis, in the science fiction series Dune by Frank Herbert.
NWNX-Leto is a separate download, also. The NWNX download itself includes just the standard plugins. _________________ - dragonsong |

hehe yah, i started another topic, was nearly the same but after much reading i noticed i still needed a plugin NWNX-leto and then still had some issues, as i mentioned in the other post the .erf was the DAR subrace system that mostly works ( at least to my min. requirement needs), used to have more that was cool, but well NWN squashed the extra from what i read. |
