OK, so I posted this on Funky's forums, but I thought i might as well post here too..
Anyone add functions to the SIMTools repetoire? I was thinking to add things like allowing familiars to be spoken through using a chat command, canceling spells on oneself, saving one's location persistently, etc...anyone have any thoughts on this stuff? I am sure it can be done, but I figure I will ask before I start trying because if someone else already has done it, why reinvent the wheel?
Thanks |

yes i have
but i completely rewrote Funky's system, becose i don't like his usage of getmessage, messenger etc. and don't need things like DMFI, emotes (im using another system) and so on
if you don't mind i post you mine "SimTools" system and you can learn how to do it...
i think that for purposes of additional function is funky's system absolutely non-useable; not so skilled scripter as he can't understand his code _________________ Community Patch / NWNX Patch / NWNX Files / NWNX Connect |

Psst, check the date. He got his answer 6 months ago. The next version will have a local var to add new commands even more easily, but any number of people have modded my system to add commands, it's not nearly as hard as you seem to think (though probably more of a pain for non-native english speakers). If you want, though, I'll happily post the localcommand bridge code being added to next update.
