No settings are necessary, just put it in the folder and go. _________________ Win32 SVN builds: http://www.mercuric.net/nwn/nwnx/

<ThriWork> whenever I hear nwn extender, I think what does NWN need a penis extender for? |

Perhaps someone can make it a own plugin and not using FIXES for the plugin?
At the current state its impossible to use it with the current svn version. Or can someone this function integrate into the NWNXFixes with a switch option via NWNX.ini like:
[FIXES]
enabled=y
charlist=n/y
It's only in my mind but perhaps someone can make it... _________________ Mikel of Avalon

Hold on hold on hold on. This not only disables the playerlist entirely (as in, nobody appears online) but also disables the in-game playerlist. Any chance of only hiding the levels on log in? |

I fully support Fireboar's question.
Showing nothing at all is not optimal, generaly players like to know who else is online so it would be great if just the character class/level data can be hidden and the character names shown. |

The in-game playerlist still works fine for me on a Windows server, I'll test Linux now. Do you have anything else that might be interfering?
Edit: Linux is fine too. Testing was exclusively with Windows clients, though. Hmm...
Re: hiding only classes on login, it would be possible to do that, but significantly more difficult, and it would look a little messy (PCs can't have zero classes, so the best you could probably do is display " (1)" for the class list). I'd recommend putting a list of character names on a web page via MySQL instead.
This post has been edited a silly number of times. I blame VMWare for taking so long to boot. _________________ Win32 SVN builds: http://www.mercuric.net/nwn/nwnx/

The ingame playerslist is still fine indeed, it is the the playerlist on the character selection screen I am refering to. |

Well, the in-game playerlist was down on a Windows server with both Windows and Linux clients connecting, when using this plugin. Bit of a problem there, though it's weird that nobody else got it.
Having level 1 everything would be fine. If possible it would be a great improvement. |

Just got it displaying "Barbarian (0)" for everyone's classes. Not nearly as hard as I thought. That sound good? _________________ Win32 SVN builds: http://www.mercuric.net/nwn/nwnx/

Okay, sounds great. I appreciate it's probably impossible to hide that information entirely, since the client's expecting a list of players, classes (1 to 3) and levels (1 for each class).
Thanks for your hard work! I'll mention this development to the boss man and we'll see how it goes. |

Displaying any class with the character name is fine as long as the players can see who is online when selecting their character.
Thanks for looking into this. |

It would be amazing if you could toggle the showing and hiding of DMs, as well as injecting a default file/image name for the portraits (prevents people from seeing poly-morphed portraits primarily). |
