Hi all!
I messed around with MySQL a little with NWN 1 and had some success. Unfortunately, its been a while and im not sure how to set everything up. If a pro in this area could be so kind as to help me out here or even on email that would be great. Im not a total noob but really need some help! Im attempting to use NWNX4 and SQLite to run a PW for NWN 2. I basically need to know which files to move to the nwn2 directory, getting this setup etc etc. A step by step small tutorial would be great!
Im also using Rowells_PW_Kit in the moule im building if anyone is familiar with it. All scripts are in the right placed but i need to know how to get this ball rolling!
Hope to hear from someone!
Thanks in Advance

Did you read the docs on http://nwnx.org/index.php?id=docs ? I know they are a bit hard to follow at times, but the information you need should be there.
Do you have a more specific question ? _________________ Papillon |

Thanks for the reply!
I have read through the whole tutorial since that post. I have everything set up and ready to go. I have MySQL running and its good to go. I have created a database with SQLYog etc. I can connect with my username and password and all is fine there. Now, i want to use Rowell PW Toolkit. Maybe this isnt the best option but from what i can see and read it seems to well liked for PW. Ive imported all .erf to my module. Now, im a little fuzzy on making the table in the database. I see with the download with the toolkit there is a MySQL text document with what i need in it. How do i import this into my database? Anyone who uses this system or has a better way to go about things would be great. It says that NWNx4 makes the tables for you so i guess thats where im confused.
Thanks

Well, I can not comment on Rowell's PW Toolkit, but I'd try the nwnx demo modules (included in the 1.07 download) first. If those work, you have set up MySQL, NWN, and NWNX to work together nicely.
From that point on, you should rely on the docs that come with the stuff you install. Of course, if anyone can comment on the toolkit on this forum, that would be appreciated as well. _________________ Papillon |
